The pleats fall away from the hipline so that there's no bunching around the waist which would be the worst possible fit for my shape.
"The dress hung really well straight out of the bag even though it had initially looked creased. It looks like it would travel well. I also like the fact that the sleeves have a small pleat in them so that they're not too full. I've chosen the pink yarrow design and it's really pretty. I'd buy another dress in this style if the other colourways were a bit better. All in all it's a winner for me."
A second wrote: "Lovely shape to this dress, it clings in all the right places and flowy elsewhere., I just love it. The fabric is very soft and feels so comfortable."
Somebody else said.: "A lovely dress, very flattering. I'm between a 14/16 and the 14 fitted perfectly I could wear this on my holiday abroad with sandals and in autumn with boots. Very pleased with it."
"Perfect, if not for the neckline," one three-star review reads, however. "This dress is beautiful with flattering lines and lovely swing. I loved the retro styling and the bright blue with red flowers popped. Unfortunately, the bodice is cut so low the middle of my bra was exposed, and I am full busted. The only way I could wear it would have been to get it stitched or pin, which I knew I wasn't going to get around to doing. Sadly, I had to return."
Somebody else gave the Kristen Pleated Jersey Dress a three-star review because the 'fabric was not as expected'. It reads: "Loved the dress and fit but the fabric is weird. Stretching it even a tiny bit made it look white. Horrible. Returned because of this. Expensive dress for cheap fabric.."
